TAGB British Championships 2011 Sunday 27th November 2011

What an awesome end to the 2011 tournament season!
16 members entered the largest event of the year with more promising results achieved. Thanks to those who supported and congratulations to those who were placed:

Ella Summerfield (gold sparring); Nicola Williams (silver sparring);
Holly Markland (bronze sparring); Anthony Brennan (bronze sparring)
Liam Craven, Rebecca Donnelly, Jason Evans, Joshua Fowler, Anthony Gayle, Saffron Rivers, Graham Summerfield, Leah Woodall.

Our tournament league table will be updated soon, I will then know who has the most points and is the overall winner for the year. The winners trophy will be presented at the Christmas party along with '2011 student of the year' and the grading award from October.

Charity Inter Club Tournament 2011 in aid of RNLI Sunday 13th November 2011

A massive thank you to all who supported this event in competing and spectating.

Spectators - we need as much support as possible so ask your friends and family to come along and we welcome your donations on the door.

Results from this tournament will count towards the annual ABTKD competition league table (the award for 'Most Successful Competitor 2011' will be presented at the Christmas party).

Lincolnshire TKD Championships Saturday 22nd October 2011

Purely due to the hard work and determination of some of our 'hard core' members, we had yet another 100% success rate at this tournament. Five members competed on the day and all five received a medal or trophy.

Well done all and special thanks to our own James Maher and Matt Dagnall from Chelmsley TAGB for making up a tag team with me!

All of the above results have been transferred to points on the ABTKD annual league table and I must say that the lead positions are looking very interesting indeed.

There is still time to clock up league table points at the Charity Inter Club Challenge and the TAGB British Championships.

The league table winners trophy will be presented at the Christmas party.
